NIGHT OF EXPERTS

People who are able to do something what not everybody
is able to and who present this in the "small public".
People who are able to do something and do what no
one expects from them. You may gaze at in wonder:
dancing, singing, unconventional abilities, scientific
expert-knowledge and whatever.
Everybody has seen them somewhere. On places representing
a public which is easy to survey but cannot be beaten in
its familiarity. In the tiny beer and wine bars, the coffeeshops
at filling stations, the betting cafˇs, the canteens serving
even after closing time - there they sit. there it is more
intimate than at home. Decried by the supposed highbrows,
there the true experts of the country unfold. After having
sat down at the bar for about a thousand times, a special
form of knowledge develops in those heads concerning everything
that happens in the world. Catalysed by the right amount of
drinking, there is at least one person at every bar in the
wee hours who shows the others what he knows , who knows
something in every field, who perhaps knows everything - a polihistor!
The best of the best shall convene. Wine shall be preached.
