title: SAFETY DANCE
responsibility: P. Hrmannseder, R. Stachel, U. Salamun
Once upon a time, it was a waltz on the Heldenplatz, now the young republic invites to the safest party of its history.
In times of an omnipresent insecurity, be it because of terroristic threats, hysterically circulated diseases or the worries about an old age pension, it is important not to keep a slack rein at festive occasions. Like the proverbial moths, suspect persons are seeking the dazzling light of public events. The Acconci island of the blessed ones is, especially at the opening night, not invulnerable to malicious attacks. Maschek scans - without disturbing the desired party mood - the audience. Every insecurity factor, be it ever so small, is nipped in the bud with the co-operation of the people present. Conspicuous is the inconspicuousness. Thought is free, accessible to everybody who wants to hear but could not see. Together we will be strong. Nothing for weak nerves!
About Maschek:
Maschek mainly works with TV material which, synchronized live, takes out the quite obvious meaning behind the images. Good DJs.
